If you would like to subscribe to the newsletter offered on this website, we will need from you an e-mail address as well as information that allow us to verify that you are the owner of the e-mail address provided and consent to the receipt of the newsletter. No further data shall be collected or shall be collected only on a voluntary basis. We shall use such data only for the sending of the requested information. The newsletter itself is delivered by our e-mail provider, which is named in section 11 below; apart from that provider, acting on our instructions, we do not share the data with third parties.
The processing of the information entered into the newsletter subscription form shall occur exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You may revoke the consent you have given to the archiving of data, the e-mail address, and the use of this information for the sending of the newsletter at any time, for instance by clicking on the “Unsubscribe” link in the newsletter. This shall be without prejudice to the lawfulness of any data processing transactions that have taken place to date.
The data deposited with us for the purpose of subscribing to the newsletter will be stored by us until you unsubscribe from the newsletter or the newsletter service provider and deleted from the newsletter distribution list after you unsubscribe from the newsletter or after the purpose has ceased to apply. We reserve the right to delete or block e-mail addresses from our newsletter distribution list at our own discretion within the scope of our legitimate interest in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Data stored for other purposes with us remain unaffected.
After you unsubscribe from the newsletter distribution list, your e-mail address may be stored by us or the newsletter service provider in a blacklist, if such action is necessary to prevent future mailings. The data from the blacklist is used only for this purpose and not merged with other data. This serves both your interest and our interest in complying with the legal requirements when sending newsletters (legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The storage in the blacklist is indefinite. You may object to the storage if your interests outweigh our legitimate interest.
This website uses so-called Google Fonts provided by Google to ensure the uniform use of fonts on this site. These Google fonts are locally installed so that a connection to Google’s servers will not be established in conjunction with this application.

We collect, process, and use personal customer and contract data for the establishment, content arrangement and modification of our contractual relationships. Data with personal references to the use of this website (usage data) will be collected, processed, and used only if this is necessary to enable the user to use our services or required for billing purposes. The legal basis for these processes is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
The collected customer data shall be deleted upon completion of the order or termination of the business relationship and upon expiration of any existing statutory archiving periods. This shall be without prejudice to any statutory archiving periods.
We share personal data with third parties only if this is necessary in conjunction with the handling of the contract; for instance, with the financial institution tasked with the processing of payments.
Any further transfer of data shall not occur or shall only occur if you have expressly consented to the transfer. Any sharing of your data with third parties in the absence of your express consent, for instance for advertising purposes, shall not occur.
The basis for the processing of data is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, which permits the processing of data for the fulfilment of a contract or for pre-contractual actions.
We integrate payment services of third-party companies on our website. When you make a purchase from us, your payment data (e.g. name, payment amount, bank account details, credit card number) are processed by the payment service provider for the purpose of payment processing. For these transactions, the respective contractual and data protection provisions of the respective providers apply. The use of the payment service providers is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract processing) and in the interest of a smooth, convenient, and secure payment transaction (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Insofar as your consent is requested for certain actions, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR is the legal basis for data processing; consent may be revoked at any time for the future.
We use the following payment services / payment service providers within the scope of this website:
The provider for customers within the EU is Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd,1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Grand Canal Dock, Dublin, Ireland (hereinafter “Stripe”).
Data transmission to the US is based on the Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) of the European Commission. Details can be found here: https://stripe.com/de/privacy and https://stripe.com/de/guides/general-data-protection-regulation.
Details can be found in Stripe’s Privacy Policy at the following link: https://stripe.com/de/privacy.
The data you create in the product is stored with Supabase, Inc., 970 Toa Payoh North #07-04, Singapore 318992, with its European operations and our database located in the Frankfurt region (eu-central-1) of the Amazon Web Services cloud. Supabase provides the database, the login mechanism and the file storage of this platform.
Stored there is everything the product needs in order to be the product: your account and login data, your journal and its trades, the notes, tags and screenshots you attach to them, your backtests and saved strategies, your indicators and chart layouts, and your subscription status. Your database records are held in Frankfurt and are not transferred to a third country in the ordinary course of operation. Where Supabase staff access data from outside the EU for support purposes, that transfer is based on the Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) of the European Commission, which form part of the data processing agreement concluded with the provider.
This processing is necessary to provide the service you have registered for and takes place on the basis of Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR. Details can be found in Supabase’s privacy policy at: https://supabase.com/privacy.
You can connect a broker or trading account so that your trades appear in the journal automatically. This is optional, it happens only when you connect an account yourself, and you can disconnect it at any time.
For MetaTrader accounts, the synchronisation runs on our own server located in Germany rather than through a third-party provider. The account number, the broker server name and the access data you enter are used to retrieve your account’s trading history, your open positions and your pending orders, and are stored encrypted. The trades retrieved are stored in your journal in the database described in section 9.
For TradeLocker accounts, the connection is made against the interface of the TradeLocker platform (public-api.tradelocker.com). When you connect an account, your credentials are exchanged for access tokens, which we store encrypted, and are used to retrieve your trading history. We do not receive your TradeLocker password beyond the connection step itself.
The processing of the data described in this section is necessary to provide the journal function you have asked for and takes place on the basis of Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR. Deleting a connected account removes its stored access data.
Our e-mails are sent by Resend, operated by Plus Five Five, Inc., USA (hereinafter “Resend”). This covers both the transactional e-mails the product has to send (such as registration confirmations, password resets and account notices) and, if you have subscribed to it, the newsletter described in section 6.
Transmitted to Resend for this purpose are your e-mail address, the content of the respective message and the technical data needed for delivery. If you subscribe to the newsletter, your e-mail address is additionally held in a distribution list at Resend until you unsubscribe.
Resend processes the data in the United States. Data transmission to the US is based on the Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) of the European Commission, which form part of the data processing agreement concluded with the provider. The transactional e-mails are sent on the basis of Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR, the newsletter on the basis of your consent under Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR. Details can be found in Resend’s privacy policy at: https://resend.com/legal/privacy-policy.
We use services of Upstash, Inc., USA (hereinafter “Upstash”) for two purposes: a fast key-value store that limits how many requests a single user or address may make in a given period, which protects the service against overuse and automated abuse, and a vector index that makes the research library searchable.
For the request limit we do not store your IP address there. The address is first converted into a non-reversible hash value using a secret key, and only that hash is used as a counter key; it cannot be turned back into an address. The vector index contains the research documents themselves and no personal data.
This processing takes place on the basis of Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in protecting the service against abuse and in providing a usable search. Upstash processes the data in the United States; the transfer is based on the Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) of the European Commission. Details can be found at: https://upstash.com/trust/privacy.pdf.
You can register and log in using your Google account instead of an e-mail address and password. The provider of this function is Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
If you choose this option, you are forwarded to Google, where you authenticate yourself and decide whether to permit the transfer of data to us. In that case Google transmits your name, your e-mail address and your profile picture to us, and we create or open the corresponding account with them. We do not receive your Google password, and we cannot read anything else in your Google account.
The use of this login is based on your consent under Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR, and on Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR insofar as it is used to perform the contract of use. You can revoke the connection at any time in your Google account settings. Details can be found in Google’s privacy policy at: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en.
You can create API keys or connect an external AI application (for example an AI assistant that supports the Model Context Protocol) to your account. Requests made with a key or a connection are processed in your account like your own actions: we record the time, the function called and the credits consumed, in order to apply the limits of your plan, to bill usage and to prevent abuse.
When you connect an external AI application, the data that the application requests from your account, such as your backtests, journal trades or forward testing accounts, is transmitted to that application. The application is chosen and operated by you or its provider; its processing of the data is governed by its own privacy policy and not by ours. You can revoke API keys and connections at any time in your account settings.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (provision of the function you have set up) and, for usage records and abuse prevention, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
If you use the community features, some of your data is visible to other users: your user name, profile picture and the profile information you choose to fill in (such as a biography or links to social media accounts), and, when you take part in the Arena or in tournaments, your match results, rankings and the chat messages you send in a room. A preview image of your profile containing your name may be shown when someone shares a link to it. You decide which optional profile information to provide, and you can change or delete it at any time.
Match results and rankings are kept as part of the history of a match or tournament for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, your profile and the data linked to it are deleted, unless we are required by law to retain them. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
Parts of this platform use a large language model: the research assistant answers questions about the research corpus and about your own trading data, and it can build indicators and strategies, run backtests and draw on the chart on your behalf. These features are only active when you open them and send a message; nothing is sent to a model if you do not use them.
The model is operated by Deep Infra Inc., 2625 Middlefield Road #460, Palo Alto, CA 94306, USA (hereinafter “DeepInfra”). We send the request to DeepInfra’s API and receive the answer; the model itself is a third-party open-weight model hosted by DeepInfra. The same provider is used for the embeddings, the text extraction and the document enrichment behind the research corpus.
What is transmitted. When you send a message to the assistant, the following is transmitted to DeepInfra for that request: the message itself; the earlier messages of the same conversation, or the shortened summary of them if you have compacted the conversation; any context you have pinned to the conversation; the facts you have explicitly asked the assistant to remember; a description of the chart, indicators and strategy currently open in front of you; and the results of the platform functions the assistant calls while answering. Those functions can read your own data, which means a request can include your journal trades, your backtests, your forward testing accounts and your open positions, whenever the answer you asked for requires them.
What is not transmitted. We do not transmit your password, your broker or platform credentials, your payment data or your email address to the model. The assistant cannot read them either: it reaches your data through a fixed list of read-only functions, each of which is restricted to your own account.
Storage at the provider and training. DeepInfra states that it does not store, sell or use for training the inputs and outputs of API requests unless explicit consent has been given. We have not given such consent, so your conversations are not used to train any model. DeepInfra’s privacy policy can be found here: https://deepinfra.com/privacy.
Storage with us. Your conversations are stored in our database so that you can return to them: the messages, the sources cited, a record of which platform functions were called, and the number of tokens and credits the request consumed. We also record a short technical note when a request behaves unexpectedly or costs an unusually large number of credits, so that faults and abuse can be investigated; that note contains the conversation reference and the technical details, and is kept no longer than needed for that purpose.
Pine Script that could not be fully converted. When you import a TradingView Pine Script in the Builder, or give one to the assistant to convert, and parts of it cannot be converted, we keep the original Pine source together with your user ID and the list of parts that failed, so that we can improve the converter. Scripts that convert completely are not kept, and the converted result is never kept for this purpose. The records are only accessible to us, and are deleted 90 days after the fault they show has been fixed or set aside, or with your account. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in the correct functioning and the improvement of the service.
Your control. You can delete a conversation at any time, which removes its messages from our database. Facts you have asked the assistant to remember can be viewed and deleted individually. Deleting your account removes both.
Legal basis. The processing described here takes place on the basis of Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR, since it is necessary to provide the function you have requested. The technical records of faulty or unusually expensive requests are processed on the basis of Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in the security, the correct functioning and the abuse prevention of the service.
Transfer to the USA. DeepInfra processes the data in the United States. Data transmission to the US is based on the Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) of the European Commission, which form part of the data processing agreement concluded with the provider.
What the assistant’s answers are. The answers are generated by a statistical model and may be incomplete or wrong, including where they cite a source or quote a figure. They are information, not investment advice, and no automated decision within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR is taken about you on their basis.
